The link doesn’t work. Also, I can’t find it by just searching the SIP website. Perhaps I’m missing something?

  2. Paul McCall says:

Actually, it’s not – that link doesn’t work.

  3. Tobyn says:

    AAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!! Epic!

  4. Shane says:

I think that I’m in love.

  5. Dan Uncles says:

So is there a cut off date for preorders, or just till you hit a certain number? Also what size is it, is this oversized or the same size as the trade and hardbacks? Also will you have an alternate cover for preorders? Do you know if you will include a CD? Thanks!

  6. Terry says:

No cut off date. We sell until sold out. Print run will be limited to something between 1,000 – 2,000 copies. Pages are standard comic book size wrapped in thick hardcovers. No alternate covers. Pre-order insures you get one. And there will be no music cd. Sorry. But, check out the factoids I’ve posted about what IS inside.

  7. Michael says:

Hi Terry so glad that you reconsidered releasing the omnibus, I have just finished ordering my copy.

  8. Otis Sykes says:

Thank you, Terry ! I’m looking forward to it!

  9. Friend of Plato says:

Will there be a drool guard for the table at Comic Con, for those of us who can’t afford it, because that is seriously drool worthy!

  10. Simon says:

Sorry if it’s been asked/said already, but will there be copies available at SDCC’09 for purchasing? I mean not just pick-ups for pre-orders, but for people to actually purchase there if they see and want one? :)

  11. Terry says:

Yes. The Omnibus makes it’s debut at San Diego.

  12. Andrea says:

Will the color dream-sequence feature word ballons, since the pocket edition does not (and it’s not in color either)?

  13. Terry says:

yep, words back in. I’ve wanted to put it back into the Pocket Edition reprints, but Robyn says we’ll make owners of the previous editions mad if the revised version has the words added. What do you think?

  14. Andrea says:

Well, the words only make sense, if the pages are in color… and I can’t see that happen with the pocket editions. But if you say, the revised editions will have color AND words, I’ll buy it in and instant!

  15. Jeff says:

Terry– Many books make corrections in the following print runs, but I think it works both ways. Dreams are often weird and the lack of sound gives it a spookier feel while the dialogue makes it more comical. It’s drawn in such a way that you can figure out everything that’s happening clearly without the dialogue.

Plus, Francine’s silent scream is quite haunting in that last dream panel. Then the sound of the thunder wakes her up to the noise of reality. (Well, an imagined future reality. You know what I mean! LOL) I think it works on both levels. It just boils down to which way you like it better.

I’m not sure if fans would feel slighted. The pocket books have some different parts from the regular trades. (Like the music lyrics swap in places.) I’m actually looking forward to getting the Omnibus to see what changes are made there.

I really wish this was in color..I’ve been waiting quite a while to buy SIP in color =(
