Echo #1 Second Printing!!
Looks like we’re going to have to do a second printing of Echo’s premier issue! And Robyn had overprinted by almost 2,000 and still… The last 24 hours have been the most exciting of the year, and here I sit at the computer trying to concentrate on my Spidey-Mary Jane #3 script. It’s crazy!!! She told me the second printing will NOT have the silver foil cover, just the regular color.

On Tuesday, the day before Echo hit the stores, I got a call from the Alter Ego Comics podcast. We talked about SiP, Echo, Runaways and Spider-Man Loves Mary Jane.
Newarama called me Wednesday morning (new comic day) to find out if I was running around the studio with my hair on fire (yes, that’s what happened to it). The comments following the article are particularly interesting.
The Newsarama Review Group listed Echo 1 as their pick of the week and got the jump on everybody today by posting one of the first reviews of Echo.
iFanBoy is recommending Echo to all their listeners.
Wizard’s Thursday Morning Quartbacks reviewed Echo today.
Comicbloc posted a review.
Oh, while I’m posting links, I don’t think I ever gave you the link for this interview done late last year. We talked a lot about Echo and Marvel and art and why.

I just wanted to say, I just bought Echo #1 today, and I am more than satisfied. It was totally not what I was expecting from you, and I couldn’t be happier. The only thing better than a new Moore independent project, in my book, is a new Moore independent Sci-Fi project. I’ll be waiting anxiously for issue #2.

My nerves won’t take the waiting, and my wife won’t restore my allowance, so I can’t afford the monthly issues, I’m having to wait for the tpbs, but I love what I’ve seen of Echo. What worries me is the review you linked into your blog here – I could barely understand it, and right now I’m reading things for a living. What’s the train he’s talking about, and why does it have crap excellent comics? Why should I be interested in his opinion if he knows SIP is great but hasn’t gotten around to reading it yet? I know Echo rocks from the five page preview I’ve seen, and the fact I’ve read every SIP in print more than once (and all the PToos). I wasn’t surprised you needed a second print run. You go, Mr Moore. You haven’t let us down yet, so I don’t think you’re going to.

Thats so exciting. I ordered my copy from you so I could get it signed but I also ordered one from my local comic shop to show you more support and to support the shop. When I walked in the door the clerk had it in his hands ready for me. He knew exactly what I was coming in for!
Great news about the 2nd printing! It’s good to know you have good press and you should keep doing interviews! Echo #1 is a great start, and I hope #2 is out asap!

Oh yah, that’s my comments on the Newsarama article, the Billy Parker dude.
I just read Echo #1, and I loved it! The art is beautiful, the story gets into the action immediately… I read SiP in trade, and so I was so excited to get to start this one from the ground up.
And you have NO idea how excited I am to hear even the slightest news about your SMLMJ work in these blogs.

I finally got my copy of SiP pocketbook #6 here in Greece! I’m so happy my collection’s complete! (although a little shocked to find Darcy at the side of the last book, I was 1000% sure it would be Tambi there!)
I have also ordered Echo and can’t wait for it to get overseas!
