Happy Thanksgiving!
The announcement about Echo went well. Naturally I’m happy about that. Most of the comic sites picked up the news. Several called the next day for interviews.
A couple of weeks before announcing Echo, I did an interview with Sequential Tart, chatting with my pal Adrienne. When she tried to pin me down on what I was working on, I was forced to resort to drastic measures.
A couple of days ago I talked about Echo with Vanetta at Newsarama, revealing why I chose another female lead character.
I also talked Echo and comics with Jennifer Contino at The Pulse.
And I did an interview with Wizard but it’s not posted yet.
Trevor, the wunderkind behind the SiP mosaics, has already created an Echo mosaic. This one is an animated loop with a zoom out.

I just saw Adrian’s mock-ups for Mary Jane #1. They’re great. He brings so much life to the story. This book is going to be so fun! I’m getting very excited about it. And, by the way, my public apology for repeatedly typing his last name wrong. It’s Alphona, not whatever I was spelling. I mean, I know better, I just get these huge blindspots in my brain sometimes. Sometimes I wonder if I’m not lysdexic.
Okay, if you’re in the USA, have a nice Thanksgiving tomorrow. If you’re outside of the states and would like some turkey, I’m sure there is a hotline you can call. Or you may be wondering why the hell we’re all eating a yardbird like it’s the best meal we’ve ever had. No wonder French chefs think we’re all clods. Oh the stories Robyn could tell you about me in France! Whatever, I like Thanksgiving, it’s the least commercial holiday we have left. Have a good one.

Thanks for the kind words Terry.
Every year I spend Thanksgiving at my cabin with family and friends. This year it’s a relatively small group, only 20 people (typically we average 25-30). Prior to the feast, we pass around a small basket. Each person places a kernel of corn in the basket and declares what he or she is thankful for. To me Thanksgiving is not about the turkeys, the stuffing, the yams, or even the homemade pies. It’s all about placing that kernel of corn in the basket; it’s all about giving thanks.
TERRY MOORE!! I HOPE YOU HADA GREAT THANKSGIVING!! and i’m sorry this is late!! but i just wanted to say you are my hero! and your SiP stories is the best thing i have ever read that has touch my heart. i was late in finding SiP and knowing what it’s all about but i was glad i did. it has been one of the greatest things i have ever been greatful for in my life.
