SIP’s Tarot Reading & New Songs

Just finished a commission that asked for a Celtic spread of tarot cards with a SiP theme. Take a look.

Now click on the pic and study the the cards enlarged as you listen to the appropriate music, Right Through Me. Darcy the Devil Girl is especially frightening with the right music, forked tongue and all. If you’re wondering about the tattoos on the girl’s palms… notice that when she puts her hands together it would form a pentagram… a very, very powerful pentagram. (Oops, Sheila just pointed out that the tattoos make a six-point star, not a five. A slight adjustment to one line will fix that.)
While I’m posting music, here are three more originals I’ve never posted. Nightflight was recorded softly because Robyn was in the next room asleep. Oklahoma, I wrote when I was a teenager dreaming of life on the road. I used my new J45 (gifted to me at the SiP Wrap Party) to record those two. Racketeers utilizes all Garage Band loops with an old tv movie thrown in — just me screwing around with my toys. And while we’re talking about music, I’ve added a category of links off to the side (look right and scroll down) with all the songs I’ve posted so far. This will make it easy to find them if you want them, and easy to avoid if you prefer.

I have three commissions left to do. Must get them done by Sunday so I can begin work Monday on Spider-Man Loves Mary Jane and Runaways. Next in line is a request for an art nouveau piece. I love that style so this will be fun. I’ll show you what I end up with soon as I can. In the meantime, here is a recent shot of Francine and Katchoo, post-SiP. They still look good, don’t they? I chatted with them briefly. They were in town to pick up a guitar Katchoo had purchased from Carolyn Wonderland. They stopped by the studio before leaving for the airport. Francine smelled of baby powder and Katchoo smiled a lot. They’re very happy.
